Data Center

IT operations are a crucial aspect of most organizational operations in the modern world. One of the main concerns is business continuity; companies rely on their information systems to run their operations. If a system becomes unavailable, company operations may be impaired or stopped completely. It is necessary to provide a reliable infrastructure for IT operations, in order to minimize any chance of disruption. Information security is also a concern, and for this reason a data center has to offer a secure environment which minimizes the chances of a security breach.

This is where GFST comes in with its data center. A data center must therefore keep high standards for assuring the integrity and functionality of its hosted computer environment. This is accomplished through redundancy of both fiber optic cables and power, which includes emergency backup power generation. GFST’s data center set and equipment may be used to:

  • Operate and manage a carrier’s telecommunication network
  • Provide data center based applications directly to the carrier’s customers
  • Provide hosted applications for a third party to provide services to their customers
  • Provide a combination of these and similar data center applications.

GFST can offer Telecom or IT companies Network Operations Center (NOC) services that is an independent and customized to enable 24/7 monitoring, escalations, event research, and remediation.

NOCs are implemented by business organizations, public utilities, universities, and government agencies that oversee complex networking environments that require little to no downtime. NOC personnel are responsible for monitoring one or many networks for certain conditions that may require special attention to avoid degraded service. Organizations may operate more than one NOC, either to manage different networks or to provide>geographic redundancy in the event of one site becoming unavailable.

GFST‘s NOC will analyze problems, perform troubleshooting, communicate with site technicians and other NOCs, and track problems through resolution. When necessary, NOCs escalate problems to the appropriate stakeholders. Primary responsibilities of our NOC personnel include but not limited to:

  • Network monitoring
  • Incident response
  • Communications management
  • Reporting

Our NOC engineers work as an extension of your team, using your tools and processes, to continuously monitor alerting dashboards, open trouble tickets, call your onsite team, or remediate and troubleshoot issues as required.

Using our NOC will enable you to grow and focus on your business, free up key personnel, increase productivity of your workforce, and offer services in the value chain which differentiate you in the marketplace.

GFST can also setup a dedicated NOC or private NOC for your organization.
